St. Gabriel has many opportunities for parishioners to share their time and talent through the ministry of music. If you already participate, thank you for your stewardship in the St. Gabriel music ministries! Your participation greatly enhances worship for all our parishioners – you are greatly appreciated!
We love welcoming new members--please prayerfully consider joining one of our choirs, or sharing your talents as a cantor or musician.
Adult Choir will be resuming! The look and feel of this will be a bit different than in the past, however, this model has worked well in previous parishes that I have been involved with, and I feel that this will be a great fit for St. Gabriel.
Beginning this fall, Adult Choir will sing at key parts of the church year---Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week/Easter, and Pentecost. This will allow us sufficient time to prepare quality music for these most special times of the year. Weekly rehearsals will begin this fall to prepare for Advent/Christmas, then a short hiatus until we begin to prepare for Lent/Holy Week/Easter in spring 2022.
Cantors lead congregational singing at each Saturday and Sunday Liturgy
If you play or have played guitar, drums, flute, trumpet, or violin and would like to use those talents in Praise of our Lord or would like to join a small group choir, please contact Matt Byczynski at [email protected]
