(only while school is in session)

Scrip can be used for everyday shopping items such as food, clothing, and gas; discretionary items such as books, movies, and dining; and larger projects such as lumber, appliances, and textiles.

Purchase cards for your own use or to give as gifts. The possibilities are endless!

You can purchase gift cards from hundreds of vendors including:

Why is Scrip an effective fundraiser?

Scrip is effective because it's simple! You shop as you always would,

but use Scrip gift cards in place of your cash or credit.  The more purchases made with Scrip, the more fundraising money St. Gabriel Parish earns.

If enough families use Scrip for their everyday purchases, we could raise $40,000 to $80,000 annually – a big boost for our parish!

WHAT IS THE SCRIP PROFIT USED FOR?

Scrip profit helps St. Gabriel Parish support our parish ministries.

Did You Know?

For families participating in the Scrip Program… half of the rebates earned by your family are directly credited to your Catholic school tuition or Catholic formation fees. The other half of your earned rebates count as a fundraiser for our parish.

Buy Scrip for your parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles to earn more against your tuition and religious education fees.

WHERE DO I BUY SCRIP?

Now, earning is even more convenient—anytime you want, anywhere you go and pick up right where you left off.

ARCHDIOCESE OF MILWAUKEE SCRIP POLICIES:

In order to qualify as a fundraiser under IRS rules and to avoid the possible incurring of unrelated business income tax liability for the parish/school, uncompensated volunteer hours must make up at least 85% of the total number of hours it takes to run the scrip program. However, the parish/school is ultimately responsible for the program. Scrip volunteers are accountable to the parish/school staff employees charged with oversight responsibilities. Paid parish employees may perform some of the tasks, but their involvement should not exceed 15% of the total activities involved in the operation of the scrip program. It is advisable to have logs or diaries maintained by volunteers and paid staff to track the time spent on the scrip program.
