Supporting Our Parish
Grateful and Generous
St. Gabriel Parish Giving Guide
A Guide to Giving in Stewardship
Through Scripture, we are reminded that God calls us to be generous with all of our blessings — including our time, talents, and treasure.
“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with first fruits...”
(Proverbs 3:9)
“How shall I make a return to the Lord for all the good He has done for me?”
(Psalm 116:12)
As people of faith, we are called to return to God from our first fruits in thanksgiving for the blessings that God has entrusted to us. By establishing an intentional plan for giving, we ensure we are doing our part to support His Church and share the blessings we have received.
Best Practices
- Create and maintain a household budget
- Plan your charitable giving annually
- Use our online giving options or bill-pay tool through your local bank
- Understand that tithing means to give 10% of your income. Suggested amounts are: 5% to your local parish, and 5% to other Church and community charities about which you are passionate about.

Time & Talent
The Catholic tradition of volunteering is rooted in selflessness and sacrificial love. Volunteering is a way to grow as a disciple of Christ, practice our virtues, and become more like Christ. Please consider sharing your time and talents with our St. Gabriel parish.
